Audi TT RS: 400 CV para el más potente de la historia

Pekín ha sido el escenario elegido para la presentación del nuevo Audi TT RS, la variante más potente del Audi TT 2014, con un motor de cinco cilindros en línea que desarrolla 400 CV de potencia. Junto a él, se presentaba también su variante descapotable, el Audi TT RS Roadster, con idéntica mecánica. Ambos llegarán al mercado europeo a finales de 2016. Su precio, eso sí, es elevado, ya que parte de 79.900 euros.

Este nuevo coupé compacto monta el conocido motor 2.5 TFSI, pero ahora, sin variar sus 2.480 cc de cilindrada, aumenta su potencia un 17% respecto al anterior TT RS (340 CV) e incluso supera al Audi TT RS Plus, con 360 CV. Los 400 CV (161,3 CV por litro) van acompañados de un par máximo de 480 Nm disponible desde las 1.700 rpm y  hasta las 5.850 rpm. Se ha rebajao el peso del bloque nada menos que 26 kg. Va asociado al cambio S tronic de siete relacciones, una transmisión de doble embrague que puede ser controlada desde la propia palanca o desde las levas.

Esta transmisión dispone de un sistema launch control para mejorar la aceleración, que es de por sí muy buena. El nuevo Audi TT RS 2016 acelera de 0 a 100 km/h en 3,7 segundos y alcanza una velocidad máxima de 250 km/h (podrá aumentarse hasta los 280 km/h bajo pedido). Ayuda que pese 1.440 kilos, 10 kg menos que el modelo precedente, con una relación peso/potencia de 3,6 kg.

La potencia se transmite a las cuatro ruedas mediante el sistema de tracción integral permanente quattro, con un software mejorado para que calcule continuamente el par enviado al eje trasero, incluso en pleno viraje en una curva a alta velocidad, para mejorar el control. Para los más osados, hay una configuración deportiva RS del ESC… que directamente puede desconectarse.

It is associated with the seven-speed S tronic gearbox, a double-clutch transmission that can be controlled from the lever itself or from the cams.

This transmission has a launch control system to improve the acceleration, which is very good in itself. The new Audi TT RS 2016 accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km / h (it can be increased up to 280 km / h on request).
