Mini Living Breathe: la vivienda respetuosa con el medio ambiente

MINI ha presentado un concepto revolucionario de vivienda urbana con la colaboración de los arquitectos de Nueva York SO – IL. La instalación Mini Living Breathe pretende reinterpretar el uso que hacemos de los recursos en un espacio donde el respeto por el medio ambiente es incuestionable. Esta innovadora vivienda ha sido expuesta en el Salón del Mobile que se celebra actualmente en Milán (Italia).

“MINI LIVING Breathe muestra qué ocurre cuando vemos el hogar no solo como un mero espacio para vivir, sino como un elemento activo que desempeña un papel positivo en relación al medio ambiente y a las personas”, explica Esther Bahne, directora de Estrategia de marca e Innovación empresarial de MINI.

La instalación ofrece un lugar atractivo para vivir destinado a un máximo de tres personas en un emplazamiento urbano de 50 metros cuadrados totalmente nuevo. Una construcción inteligente en el techo recoge el agua de lluvia para su uso posterior, por ejemplo, a través de un grifo. La estructura de la vivienda es móvil y adaptable, por lo que su diseño permite desmontarla e instalarla en otro lugar. El tejido es intercambiable y puede sustituirse por otro según el clima.

“MINI LIVING Breathe pone a sus residentes en contacto directo con el entorno. Al convertir la vivienda en una experiencia activa, la instalación anima a los visitantes a cuestionar nuestra tendencia a dar por hecho el uso indiscriminado de los recursos”, añade Ilias Papageorgiou, director de SO – IL.

Una estructura metálica modular constituye la base de MINI LIVING Breathe, y una cubierta exterior translúcida y flexible proporciona el límite entre el interior y el exterior. Este tipo de pared permite que la instalación se inunde de una gran cantidad de luz natural y su revestimiento filtra y neutraliza la entrada de aire. Esta revolucionaria vivienda cuenta con un total de seis espacios, además de un jardín en la parte más elevada, donde se sitúan varias plantas que, gracias a su capacidad productora de oxígeno, mejoran la calidad del aire y del microclima urbano.

An intelligent construction on the roof collects rainwater for later use, for example, through a faucet. The structure of the house is mobile and adaptable, so its design allows disassembly and installation in another place. The fabric is interchangeable and can be replaced with another depending on the weather.

A modular metal structure forms the basis of MINI LIVING Breathe, and a translucent and flexible outer cover provides the boundary between the interior and exterior. This type of wall allows the installation to be flooded with a lot of natural light and its coating filters and neutralizes the air intake. This revolutionary housing has a total of six spaces, as well as a garden in the highest part, where several plants are located which, thanks to their capacity for oxygen production, improve the quality of the air and the urban microclimate.
