Más tecnología y seguridad: Llegó el facelift de la Pathfinder
Nissan presentó finalmente en Chile lo que es la renovación de la Nissan Pathfinder 2017, la que a medio camino de su cuarta generación presenta mejoras en infotainmente, seguridad, tecnología con un leve barniz exterior, en la que presenta la nueva parrilla V-Motion y los faros en forma de boomerang. La veremos con precios desde los CLP $20.990.000 hasta los CLP $30.990.000 y estiman ventas del orden de las 75 unidades mensuales. Los colores disponibles son Verde Oliva, Negro, Plata, Gris Metálico, Rojo Metálico, Blanco Perla y Azul Oscuro Metálico.
Recordemos que actualmente Nissan es un actor relevante en el mercado mundial y nacional de SUV/Crossover con modelos como el Nissan Kicks, Juke, Qashqa, X-Trail y Nissan Murano. Con la Pathfinder compite con modelos como la Ford Explorer, Mazda CX-9, la futura Chevrolet Traverse, Hyundai Grand Santa Fe y Toyota 4Runner, entre otros.

Llega con el mismo motor Vq35, es decir un V6 de 3.5 L que genera una potencia de 260 HP a 6,400 RPM y untTorque de 334 NM a 4,400 RPM, además de una mejorada transmisión CVT. Al mirar en detalles la nueva Parthfinder 2017, veremos que exteriormente presenta cambios en su máscara delantera, faros de niebla, espejos laterales con luces direccionales integradas y abatibles eléctricamente. Además, se suman las llantass de aleación de aluminio de 18 y 20 pulgadas, según versiones. La parte posterior tiene nuevas luces traseras y una puerta eléctrica con función de manos libres. Basta un ligero movimiento de pie bajo el centro de la puerta trasera para activar esta función. Además, este modelo cuenta con rieles en el techo que le permiten mayor flexibilidad para el transporte de accesorios, así como un techo panorámico.
Adentro las mejoras se enfocan en la conectividad, manteniendo su espacio para siete pasajeros pero con características de conectividad actualizadas, Para ello suma una pantalla Nissan Advanced Drive-Assist (ADAD, por sus siglas en inglés) está localizada al frente en el panel de instrumentos, entre el tacómetro y el velocímetro y muestra información adicional de asistencia para el conductor. Otorga una interacción intuitiva, así como una gran variedad de ajustes y sistemas que el usuario puede seleccionar, como Bluetooth y transmisión de audio streaming, además de un sistema de entretenimiento de la segunda fila.
A ello agrega el sistema de audio Premium Bose (desde las versiones Advance) con pantalla táctil a color de 8” con DVD, MP3, Bluetooth, iPod Ready, GPS, 2 entradas de USB y 11 parlantes con subwoofer. Al sistema de entretenimiento familiar se añade una entrada HDMI y un puerto USB, así como nuevos monitores QHD de 8 pulgadas independientes en las cabeceras de los asientos delanteros. El nuevo sistema DVD también incluye audífonos inalámbricos para los asientos posteriores y control remoto.
CAMBIOS EN TECNOLOGÍA Y SEGURIDAD
A ello, suma la actualización de todas sus tecnologías de seguridad, dentro del programa Nissan Safety Shield (varia en cada mercado y versión):
- Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) que monitorea el vehículo de enfrente y ayudar a mantener la configuración de velocidad y distancia de acuerdo al flujo del tráfico.
- Forward Emergency Brake y Frontal Collision Warning (FCW y FCA) ayudan a evitar un posible choque frontal si el auto de enfrente desacelera repentinamente.
- Blind Spot Warning y Rear Cross Traffic Alert (BSW y RCTA) monitorean la periferia del vehículo y emite una alerta si un vehículo se está aproximando por ambos lados.
- Around View Monitor (AVM), sistema que utiliza cuatro cámaras colocadas estratégicamente, al frente, en la parte posterior del vehículo y en ambos retrovisores exteriores, para que el monitor de visión periférica cree una vista panorámica de 360 grados que puede ser utilizada como auxiliar.
- Moving Object Detection (MOD) que cuando detecta objetos en movimiento emite una alerta para prevenir al conductor del riesgo y evitar un potencial accidente.
A ello suma sus sistema de tracción integral (también llega en versiones 2WD) con la modalidad i-4WD que regula el reparto de manera eléctronica con la posibilidad del bloqueo de diferencial (50%/50%).
