Siete versiones: Suzuki presenta oficialmente al Swift 2017

Aunque poco tiene de sorpresa la presentación de Suzuki, es muy probablemente el último estreno antes de que termine el año, ya que el fabricante japonés liberó las fotografías del nuevo compacto.

En Japón estará disponible en 7 versiones, con 3 plantas motrices a elegir: un motor 1.2 y 4 cilindros como base, una versión semihíbrida usando el mismo motor anterior, y un nuevo 1.0 turbo. No entregaron cifras de potencia por ahora, pero el 1.0 turbo es la opción para la versión de performance.

La versión base tendrá una transmisión manual de 5 marchas, mientras que el híbrido utilizará una caja CVT, y ambos estarán disponibles con tracción frontal o total. El motor turbo estará disponible solamente con una caja automática de 6 marchas, y tracción delantera. 

El vehículo será presentado en forma global y al público durante el próximo salón de Ginebra, en marzo del 2017, por lo que habrá que esperar a ver en que sabores llega a Europa y a estos lados del mundo.

Although little surprise of the presentation of Suzuki, is most likely the last premiere before the end of the year, as the Japanese manufacturer released the photographs of the new compact.

In Japan it will be available in 7 versions, with 3 power plants to choose from: a 1.2 and 4 cylinder engine as a base, a semi-hybrid version using the same old engine, and a new 1.0 turbo. They did not deliver power figures for now, but the 1.0 turbo is the option for the performance version.

The vehicle will be presented globally and to the public during the next Geneva Motor Show in March 2017, so we will have to wait to see what tastes it reaches in Europe and in these parts of the world.
