Suzuki S-Cross 4WD All-Grip 1.6L 6AT Limited 2017: Más rudo

Suzuki siempre ha hecho buenos 4×4, de los “puros y duros”, pero como las marcas evolucionan, ahora tiene la solución exacta para las familias actuales, un hacthback/crossover compacto con tracción permanente. ¿Su nombre?, SX4 S-Cross, la evolución del primero crossover de la marca (y que lo tenemos en Chile desde 2014), que fue presentado por el 2007 y que ahora lo tenemos incluyo con un facelift menor, manteniendo motores y con novedades en las cajas automáticas, ahora tradicionales de seis marchas, y no CVT como en el anterior modelo. 

Como parte de su “paquete fuera de camino”, este modelo incorpora la novedosa tecnología All Grip, que permite ajustar sus modos de manejo según el terreno elegido. Aterriza en versiones 1.6L VVT de 116 Válvulas con una potencia de 118 caballos a 6.000 RPM. y tracciones simples 4×2 y 4×4 con All-Grip. 4×4. Los precios fluctúan entre los CLP $11.790.000 hasta los CLP $14.890.000, la versión que probamos para Rutamotor.

Actualmente el S-Cross 2017 compite con modelos como el Chevrolet Tracker, Ford Ecosport, Nissan Qashqai, Hyundai Creta, entre otros. Se fabrica en Hungría. Recordemos que este modelo se suma a la línea fuera de camino del fabricante japonés, en donde tenemos modelos como el Jimny, Nuevo Vitara, Grand Vitara y Grand Nómade. Cuenta con una garantía de 3 años o 100.000 kms.

Entre su equipamiento interior suma: alzavidrios eléctricos; cierre central de puertas con comando a distancia; tendrá dos tipos de radio una con sistema de audio con Bluetooth con CD y MP3, y otra Blaupunkt Cape Town touch screen full conectividad con pantalla de 6.8 pulgadas; 4 parlantes más 2 tweeters; control de radio al volante, volante regulable en altura y profundidad; asiento del conductor ajustable en altura; asientos traseros abatibles 60:40; volante forrado en cuero; freno de mano y pomo forrado en cuero; Paddle shift; aire acondicionado o climatizador automático bi-zona independiente conductor y copiloto; botón de partida; control crucero; limitador de velocidad, alarma luces encendidas, entre otros elementos.

UN DISEÑO MEJORADO CON UNA NUEVA PARRILLA

Las cotas son las mismas, pero los cambios exteriores le dan un aspecto más de crossover, sobre todo las protecciones y los nuevos neumáticos, más anchos y altos. Las dimensiones son: 4,300 mm de largo, 1,785 mm de ancho, una altura de 1,585 mm y una distancia entre ejes de 2,600 mm.  Por su parte, la zona de los parachoques tanto delantera como trasera viene en color negro para poder hacer frente a todo tipo de caminos.La versiones que probamos tenías las llantas 17”; espejos laterales con luz intermitente integrada; techo panorámico; luces con proyector LED y halogénas; encendido y regulación automática de altura de luces; espejos retrovisores eléctricos y abatibles eléctricamente; limpiaparabrisas con sensor de lluvia; biseles cromados en neblineros, entre otros.

Básicamente, y si lo revisamos bien veremos que en la parte delantera presenta cambios en sus luces, capó y su frontal que fueron reforzados para un auto más robusto, y encuentro que lo lograron, ya que el anterior se ve “demasiado citadino” . Tiene una fluidez bien lograda, a medio camino entre un hatchback y un crossover mediano. Ofrece una capacidad de hasta 430L para carga de equipaje en su maletero y 875 litros con asientos abatidos.

El frontal tiene una grandes ópticos con forma de joya, sobre dimensionados y ahora con luces leds y otras de posición que le dan más carácter, con unos neblineros circulares y enmarcados en bordes cromados, que le dan un aspecto más fino. Por los costados tiene una línea de cintura ascendente que hacen elevar el aspecto de todo el conjunto, buscando justamente hacerlo parecer “crossover”, como una flecha. Atrás la solución es tradicional, dos grande ópticos colocados en los costados, de buen aspecto. Al centro un gran portalón semi rectangular. Las llantas 17” tienen un acabado bicolor que me gustó mucho más, se ve más “ruda”.
