Opel Crossland X 2018: El nuevo reemplazante de la Meriva

La marca alemana Opel acaba de presentar el primero de una serie de nuevos modelos y con los que pretende renovar su oferta para hacerla más acorde con los gustos del mercado actual. Comenzando por el nuevo Crossland X, un modelo que reemplaza a la Meriva y se coloca por debajo del Mokka X, aunque tiene dimensiones casi calcadas.

Aunque suene curioso lanzar un modelo que tiene casi las mismas dimensiones que el Mokka X, la marca explica que apunta a perfiles distintos, ya que por un lado el nuevo Crossland X compite con modelos como el Peugeot 2008 o el Renault Captur, que cuentan solamente con tracción delantera, mientras que el Mokka X lo hace también con modelos con opción AWD, como el Nissan Juke o el Skoda Yeti.

A nivel de chasis, comparte plataforma con el próximo Peugeot 2008 y el Citroen C3 Picasso, con los que también podría compartir motores de nueva generación. Su habitáculo ofrece según la marca el mejor espacio de su categoría, con un maletero de 410 litros de capacidad con los asientos en la posición más lejana.

Para los que buscan la máxima conectividad, cuenta con dos opciones de sistema de info entretenimiento, donde ambas cuentan con compatibilidad con Android Auro y Apple CarPlay, además de opciones como puerto de carga inalámbrica y servicio OnStar. 

En lo referente a seguridad, contará con una batería de opciones de asistencias a la conducción, incluyendo una cámara de retroceso panorámica con vista de 180°, asistencia de estacionamiento avanzada, alerta de colisión frontal con detección de peatones y frenada de emergencia automática, asistencia de cambio de carril, reconocimiento de señales de transito y alerta de punto ciego, entre otras.
