Skoda Superb aterriza en Chile con un 1.8 TSI y un 2.0 TDI

Esta es la tercera generación del sedán de la marca europea que cautiva con su renovado diseño, en donde las nociones de amplitud son muy bien trabajadas por el equipo de diseño de la marca. Con un frontal mucho más ancho que su antecesor, éste destaca por sus cortes lineales y en donde la grilla y amplios focos, se convierten en el centro de atención. Desde su logo, salen dos corten directos en el capó lo que dan una sensación envolvente con el resto de la carrocería, las que también se pueden ver a los costados del sedán. En su parte posterior, los cortes transversales y la integración los focos al maletero, muestran una personalidad más atrevida y dinámica.

 La nueva plataforma en la que se emplaza esta nueva generación entrega un chasis más amplio, lo que se traduce, efectivamente, en un mayor y más eficiente espacio. Ejemplo de ello es que quienes vayan en los asientos traseros gozarán de un espacio para las piernas de 157 mm, cifras casi el doble de las de la competencia además de toda la comodidad que entregan los amplios y cómodos asientos.

En dos versiones, el Skoda Superb ofrece un motor de 1.8 litros TSI que entrega 180 Hp y una segunda, de 2.0 litros TDI de 190 Hp, las que generan un par máximo de 250 Nm y 400 Nm, potenciadas por una caja DSG7 y DSG6, respectivamente.

Sin más, es el primer modelo de la marca en contar con Control Adaptativo del Chasis (DCC) asociado al Driving Mode Select, un asistente que permite que el modelo se adapte a las condiciones de la ruta y estilo de manejo. Así también, cuenta con el sistema de Control Crucero Adaptativo, que regula la velocidad sin interferencia del conductor. Otro de los elementos que destacan en este modelo son las luces con sistema AFS, el que permite que los focos delanteros sean redirigidos en concordancia con el ángulo del volante y la velocidad del vehículo, mejorando la visibilidad sobre todo, en las noches.

Paralelamente, el nuevo Superb ofrece Paddle Shit, sistema de audio touchscreen con Mirror Link, climatizador Bi-zona, cargador wireless, guantera refrigerada, siete airbags (frontales, laterales y de cortina), sistema ABS, sistema de regulación del motor (MSR), ESC, Control electrónico de tracción (ASR), Bloqueo electrónico del diferencial (EDS) y bloque de diferencial con asistente de tracción dinámica (XDS), Cámara de retroceso, Control de descenso en pendientes, entre otros.
