Los Audi Q4 y Q8 están confirmados y ya se sabe donde se producirán

Parece que Audi tiene bastante claro el camino que tomará en el futuro más cercano. Los SUV son el tipo de vehículos que más aumenta su cuota y la marca de los cuatro aros parece decidida a aprovecharlo con dos nuevos modelos de la familia Q. Tras el lanzamiento del pequeño Audi Q2 2016 ahora le toca el turno a dos ejemplares de mayor tamaño: el Audi Q4, que será el SUV coupé, y el Audi Q8, que será el más premium de la marca.

Del futuro Audi Q8 podemos hablar con bastante criterio, pues ya ha sido desvelado el prototipo que nos sirve de anticipo: el Audi Q8 Sport Concept. Parece que el modelo de producción será bastante similar a este conceptual y destacará por su diseño deportivo y gran habitabilidad. Será de alta gama, un buque insignia a nivel tecnológico, con las últimas asistencias a la conducción. La producción del Audi Q8 comenzará en 2018 en la planta de Bratislava (Eslovaquia), donde ya se hacen los Audi Q7 desde 2005.

Del Audi Q4 conocemos muchos menos datos. Todavía no hemos podido ver ningún concept que nos adelante sus líneas y tampoco se han desvelado detalles por el momento. La marca dice que tendrá una silueta deportiva que recuerda a un coupé y que estará en el segmento de los CUV (Compact Utility Vehicles). Por dimensiones se situará entre el Audi Q3 y el recién lanzado Audi Q5.

Para ver a este modelo, que quiere plantar cara a rivales de la talla del BMW X4 y Mercedes GLC Coupé, habrá que esperar un poco más. Se ha confirmado que su producción tendrá lugar en la factoría de Györ (Hungría) en 2019. En este lugar también se producirá el Audi Q3 a partir del año que viene, un modelo que hasta ahora se fabricaba en Martorell. La planta española se tendrá que conformar con la producción en exclusiva de la segunda generación del Audi A1.
