Aston Martin DB11 2017 en Chile: El nuevo hijo del viento

Uno de los nuevos modelos de la “nueva camada” de Aston Martin es el notable DB11 (USD $350,000), su nuevo deportivo que llegará a pedido a Chile (con una demora de cinco meses para ser entregado). Además de utilizar una nueva plataforma del fabricante de superdeportivos inglés, agrega elementos de Mercedes Benz (marca que posee 5%).

Destaca sus líneas agresivas, que lo hace lucir “más aerodinámico, más acostado”, con unos grupos ópticos de LED en su parrilla, el splitter, así como la caída del techo. El nuevo DB11 mide 4,73 m de largo por 2,07 m de ancho y 1,28 m de alto, es más grande que el DB9 en todos los aspectos. La parrilla delantera de nuevo DB11 ha sido reinterpretada, haciéndola más dominante y con una mayor influencia del diseño global. Además, estrena una nueva plataforma de aluminio que será la que la marca usará para sus próximos modelos. El DB11 hace uso también de la tecnología LED en todas sus ópticas las que vienen con un diseño más expresivo.

ESTRENA UN MOTOR V12 BITURBO

Por su parte, el DB11 estrena su nuevo propulsor 5.2 V12 Twin-Turbo con 608 CV de potencia máxima y 700 Nm de par motor. Este motor V12 sobrealimentado por dos turbos es el primero íntegramente diseñado por la marca y es el primer motor de estas características en la historia de Aston Martin. Sumado a esto nos encontramos con la incorporación del sistema Start/Stop y la posibilidad de la desactivación de la mitad de los cilindros para reducir consumos y emisiones, mejorando su eficiencia. Con esto es posible circular en el DB11 a velocidad crucero y con sólo seis de los doce cilindros activados.

El interior del nuevo Aston Martin DB11 destaca por su nuevo cuadro de instrumentos digital de 12 pulgadas. Al mismo tiempo, una segunda pantalla LCD de 8 pulgadas ha sido ubicada en la consola central para controlar todos las funciones de confort e infoentretenimiento. ¿Qué opinas?

TRAIN A V12 BITURBO ENGINE

For its part, the DB11 unveils its new 5.2 V12 twin-turbo engine with 608 hp maximum power and 700 Nm of torque. This V12 engine supercharged by two turbos is the first entirely designed by the brand and is the first engine of these characteristics in the history of Aston Martin. In addition to this we find the incorporation of the Start / Stop system and the possibility of deactivating half of the cylinders to reduce consumption and emissions, improving their efficiency. With this it is possible to circulate in the DB11 at cruising speed and with only six of the twelve activated cylinders.

The interior of the new Aston Martin DB11 stands out with its new 12-inch digital instrument panel. At the same time, a second 8-inch LCD has been located in the center console to control all comfort and infotainment functions. What do you think?
