DS Automobiles llega a los SUV con el DS7 Crossback

Desde el próximo martes 7 de marzo, los afortunados clientes franceses y suizos podrán ordenar unidades de la primera edición del DS7 Crossback, el primer deportivo utilitario (SUV) de DS Automobiles.

Bautizado como DS7 Crossback La Première, presenta líneas elegantes y exclusivas, sumado a una oferta de colores limitada a sólo tres tonalidades: Blanco nacarado, Gris artense y Negro Perla. Por dentro irá revestido en tapiz de cuero Nappa en color Art Rubis, que le da calidez y refinamiento a su habitáculo.

Detalles privativos de esta edición especial son la presencia del color Art Rubis presente en toques puntuales del logo DS, en los anagramas presentes en los flancos laterales y en las llantas de aleación aro 20 con diseño París.

Haciendo un breve repaso por su propuesta estilística, vemos que en su frontal, la máscara tiene una forma hexagonal con efecto diamante con el logo DS al centro. Los dos nervios que recorren el capó, forman una suerte de flecha entre la parte alta de la máscara y los espejos retrovisores externos, los que refuerzan la fuerza y longitud lateral de este SUV. Las aristas vivas de las aletas delanteras y traseras esculpen el flanco y dan valor a la belleza robusta del SUV. Y detrás, un portón envolvente, con formas curvadas.

Sus luces delanteras emplean módulos LED, mientras que los DS ACTIVE LED VISION, se activan al abrir las puertas del auto con una luz púrpura pivotante en 180 grados. Además, de día, las luces diurnas verticales, diseñadas como puntos de perlas, asociadas a los intermitentes dinámicos reafirman la firma luminosa única de la marca.

Las luces traseras emplean tecnología 3D Full LED láser, con forma de escamas, inspiradas en el conceptual DS E-Tense.

Para este SUV de alta tecnología y alta tradición, DS Automobiles continúa su colaboración con BRM Chronographes, con la creación de un reloj exclusivo, el B.R.M. R180. Posicionado majestuosamente sobre el salpicadero, sale de su estuche pivotando sobre él mismo desde el momento de darle arranque al motor.

Oferta de motores: seis alternativas, incluyendo una híbrida de 300CV con tracción integral.

Se ofrecerán dos alternativas diésel BlueHDi con 130 CV con caja manual de 6 velocidades y próximamente una automática de 8 marchas (EAT8) y el BlueHDi con 180 CV con sistema Start Stop (SS) y caja EAT8.

Las alternetivas bencineras son tres: PureTech 130 CV SS 6MT; THP 180 CV S&S EAT8 y la más potente THP 225 CV S&S EAT8.


La nueva caja automática de 8 velocidades (8EAT) se caracteriza por:

1.- Ofrecer un consumo de combustible un 4% menor comparada con la de seis marchas, gracias a la nueva gestión del sistema S&S, que puede activarse circulando a velocidades desde los 3 km/h, sumado a la reducción de peso de dos kilos.

2.- Otorga un mayor agrado de conducción, gracias a los pasos de marchas silenciosos y discretos, el cambio del calculador y el uso de una nueva ley de cambio de marchas.

3.- El Advanced Traction Control ofrece más capacidad de tracción en superficies con baja adherencia.

La variante híbrida dispone de un motor bencinero de 200 CV, apoyador por dos eléctricos que aportan en conjunto 80 kw, pudiendo desarrollar una potencia global de hasta 300 CV. Va acoplado, también, a una caja automática de 8 relaciones, la que se ubica sobre el eje delantero, entre el motor bencinero y el eléctrico. La batería de iones, responsable de los 80 KW de potencia, se ubica bajo el suelo.

Esta variante híbrida dispone de tracción integral a las cuatro ruedas, con un par disponible de 150Nm. Dispone de tres modos de manejo: 100% eléctrico, híbrido para viajes largos sin recarga (HEV) y el combinado (Sport), que permite recargar las baterías al quitar el pie del acelerador o al pisar el freno.

DS CONNECTED PILOT: ¿MANEJAR O DEJARSE LLEVAR?

Por medio del sistema de control de velocidad crucero adaptativo, el DS Connected Pilot, regula de manera inteligente la velocidad y la distancia, respecto de los autos que lo preceden, gestionando el manejo del auto en zonas de alta congestión (con tiempos de detención menores a los tres segundos).

Por medio de una cámara, va reconociendo las rayas del camino, manteniendo en todo momento al auto dentro de su pista de circulación. Su rango de funcionamiento va desde los 30 km/h hasta los 180 km/h.

Taking a brief look at its stylistic proposal, we see that on its front, the mask has a diamond-shaped hexagonal shape with the DS logo at the center. The two nerves that run through the hood form a sort of arrow between the top of the mask and the exterior mirrors, which reinforce the strength and lateral length of this SUV. The vivid edges of the front and rear fins carve the flank and give value to the rugged beauty of the SUV. And behind it, a wraparound gate, with curved shapes.

Its front lights use LED modules, while the DS ACTIVE LED VISION, are activated when opening the doors of the car with a purple light pivoting in 180 degrees. In addition, by day, the vertical daytime lights, designed as pearl dots, associated with the dynamic flashers reaffirm the unique light signature of the brand.

The tail lights employ 3D Full LED laser, flake-shaped, inspired by the conceptual DS E-Tense.

For this high-tech and high-end SUV, DS Automobiles continues its collaboration with BRM Chronographes, with the creation of an exclusive watch, the B.R.M. R180. Placed majestically on the dashboard, it leaves its case pivoting on itself from the moment of starting the engine.

Engine offer: six alternatives, including a 300CV hybrid with all-wheel drive.
