MINI John Cooker ¿un coche convertido en puesto de comida?

¿OS imagináis que vuestro coche se convirtiera en un puesto de comida? MINI sí, y este es el resultado. La división de proyectos especiales de la marca alemana ha ideado un atractivo paquete de accesorios con motivo del April Fool´s day (el día de los inocentes anglosajón). Por desgracia, se trata de un prototipo ficticio que no verá la luz, pero la idea de la marca no deja de sorprendernos.

Este hipotético modelo incorpora lo que MINI denomina como el pack “John Cooker Works”, es decir, una paquete que convierte al Mini Cabrio 2016 en un auténtico vendedor de comida ambulante. Entre las cosas que ofrece este modelo ficticio destaca una superficie de preparación de madera y un pack de alimentos.

El maletero del MINI Cabrio almacena también una tecnología de enfriamiento que mantiene los alimentos refrigerado. Pero esto no es todo, los restos de alimentos son desechados por un sistema de baterías que, a su vez, alimenta de forma sostenible al vehículo.

Para incorporar este innovador puesto de comida, el prototipo de MINi tan sólo debería plegar el asiento del conductor, lo que crearía un asombroso espacio debajo de la superficie de madera que se puede utilizar para almacenar los ingredientes y los utensilios de cocina.

Entre los clientes potenciales a los que se dirige este surrealista modelo se encontrarían varias compañías start-up especializadas en gastronomía. “Las compañías de comida callejera son un gran complemento para los restaurantes. Sin embargo, los camiones típicos de la calle son a menudo demasiado grandes y molestos para instarlos en el centro de la ciudad”, asegura Harry Chinn de MINI Business Innovation. MINI llegó tan lejos con esta broma que ha cifrado incluso el precio del paquete John Cooker en 1.959 €.

Among the potential customers to whom this surreal model is directed are several startup companies specialized in gastronomy. "Street food companies are a great addition to restaurants. However, typical street trucks are often too big and annoying to push them into the center of the city, "says Harry Chinn of MINI Business Innovation. MINI has come so far with this joke that it has even coded the price of the John Cooker package at € 1,959.
