Seat Ateca FR, el toque deportivo que faltaba

En el Salón de Barcelona, el mes de mayo, conoceremos al Seat Ateca FR, la versión más deportiva por el momento del Seat Ateca 2016, el todocamino que ha impulsado las ventas de la firma de Martorell (ya ha vendido más de 40.000 unidades en todo el mundo) y conseguido que la empresa presente los beneficios operativos más altos de su historia.

Esta nueva versión del SUV compacto llegará al mercado justo después de la renovación del Seat León y el nuevo Seat Ibiza 2017. Será la antesala del un par de todocaminos más: uno más pequeño, el Seat Arona, y otro de un tamaño mayor que llegará en 2018.

El Seat Ateca FR se suma a los actuales acabados Reference, Style y Xcellence, para colocarse en lo más alto de la gama. Se diferencia por detalles como el logo FR en el frontal y en portón, barras de techo y marcos de las ventanillas en color negro. La parrilla delantera, también en negro brillante, cuenta con un diseño específico, así como el paragolpes, en color de la carrocería en la parte baja, donde se integran nuevos faros antiniebla con tecnología LED.

Mención especial merecen las llantas de 18 pulgadas Performance. Entre ellas hay un faldón lateral con una moldura de aluminio que refuerza la imagen deportiva. Y en la zaga, la luneta va enmarcada por unos spoilers laterales en negro y un spoiler sobre el portón del mismo color que la carrocería. También el paragolpes trasero tiene un diseño exclusivo, como el delantero.

En el interior, al que se accede sobre unas estriberas de aluminio con el logo FR, cuenta con un volante deportivo forrado en cuero con costuras en rojo, asientos deportivos de serie tapizados en Alcantara (pueden ser opcionalmente de cuero) o pedales de aluminio. El interior está rematado en negro (puede verse en el techo o las molduras de las puertas, que tienen tapicería FR exclusiva.

Los motores que moverán al Seat Ateca FR serán propulsores de gasolina y diesel de entre 150 CV y 190 CV de potencia, ligados a transmisiones manuales o DSG. Podrán contar también con tracción a las cuatro ruedas, que opcionalmente podrán contar con el nuevo control de chasis adaptativo. Y habrá una novedad, el 2.0 TSI de 190 CV 4Drive con cambio DSG de siete velocidades.

De serie contará con un equipamiento muy generoso. No falta el sistema Full Link, SEAT Navi System con pantalla táctil de 8 pulgadas, 2 tomas USB, dos tarjetas SD, toma Aux-in, 8 altavoces y reconocimiento de voz, cámara 360º… , portón trasero eléctrico con pedal virtual, asistente de aparcamiento automático, sensor de parking delantero, control de crucero adaptativo, detección de ángulo muerto y alerta de tráfico posterior.

In the interior, which is accessed on aluminum footbridges with the FR logo, has a sports steering wheel lined in leather with red stitching, sports seats of series upholstered in Alcantara (can be optionally leather) or aluminum pedals. The interior is finished in black (can be seen in the ceiling or door trim, which have exclusive FR upholstery.

The engines that will move the Seat Ateca FR will be petrol and diesel propellers between 150 hp and 190 hp, linked to manual transmissions or DSG.
