Si la respuesta es no, puede que estés a tiempo de salvar el motor.

La vida útil del aceite del coche oscila entre los 5.000 y los 30.000 kilómetros, dependiento del vehículo y el uso que se le dé, ya que los trayectos cortos obligan a cambiar el aceite y el filtro con mayor asiduidad. Lo más habitual es cambiarlo una vez al año, pero lo mejor es respetar los intervalos marcados por el fabricante. El filtro del aceite también es esencial ya que su función es la de proteger la mecánica de impurezas que puedan estar flotando en suspensión en el lubricante. Un filtro en mal estado puede conllevar a la disminuación en el rendimiento de la mecánica, el desgaste prematuro y un consumo más elevado. Asimismo, si cambiamos el aceite y dejamos el filtro viejo, estaremos mezclando un lubricante limpio con uno sucio.
