Sólo en caso de emergencia: cómo inflar las ruedas con fuego

¿Alguna vez se te ha pinchado una rueda o se te ha desllantado y te has visto incapaz de volver a inflarla? En este vídeo mostramos un pequeño truco casero que, básicamente, consiste en quemar la rueda. Sí, has leído bien, quemar la rueda.

Podemos observar como en un primer momento rocían la parte interna del neumático spray inflamable para mejorar la combustión de la goma. Este spray puede ser algún tipo de hidrocarburo, por ejemplo 3 en 1 o gasolina. En esta ocasión, para evitar un contacto directo con el neumático, extienden ligeramente la duración de este líquido para y prenden un mechero:

¿Por qué la rueda se infla con fuego?

Parece increíble lo que pasa después, pero sí, efectivamente han conseguido que el neumático recobre su forma original y vuelva a ser completamente utililzable. Parece cosa de magia pero no lo es. Resulta que al quemar la sustancia inflamable esta se convierte en gas (en vez de líquido, su estado anterior). Además, el aire más o menos frío se calienta y se expande de forma masiva haciendo que los huecos vacíos se rellenen y el neumático vuelva a recuperar la forma original.

Antes de finalizar debemos añadir que no se trata de un truco duradero al 100%, de hecho seguramente en algunos kilómetros la rueda se vuelva a deshinchar, aunque si solo necesitamos algunos poco kilómetros para llegar a un taller, está solución puede ser la más efectiva.

Si alguna vez te ves en la necesidad de llevarlo a cabo ten en cuenta que sí puede tener un grado de peligro (a pesar de su eficacia). Asegúrate de disponer de las herramientas necesarias en caso de que el fuego se descontrolo (un extintor o agua). Realmente no es la actuación más recomendable del mundo, pero en caso de necesidad extrema, sin duda es la solución más eficaz.

Make sure you have the necessary tools in case the fire is out of control (a fire extinguisher or water). It really is not the most recommended performance in the world, but in case of extreme need, it is certainly the most effective solution.
