La StartUp Pearl Auto está formada por 70 personas de las cuales 50 han formado parte del equipo de Apple. Afirman que 1.2 mil millones de coches podrían beneficiarse de su invento con lo que las expectativas de expansión de este producto son bastante elevadas.

El único inconveniente de este sistema es que no todos los móviles serán compatibles con Pearl RearVision. La aplicación solo estará disponible en teléfonos Android con Lollipop o versión superior y iOS 9.
