¡Oficial! Estas son las primeras imágenes del Škoda Karoq: Lo conoceremos el próximo 18 de mayo

El Škoda Karoq está cada vez más cerca y buena prueba de ello son las imágenes del modelo definitivo que os traigo hoy. Como bien sabéis, el nuevo modelo de la marca checa será revelado el 18 de mayo en Estocolmo como parte de la Estrategia de expansión 2025, aunque no será hasta la segunda mitad del año cuando lo veamos circular por nuestras carreteras.

A juzgar por lo que vemos en las imágenes, el Karoq contará exteriormente con numerosos elementos derivados del actual diseño de la marca, así como novedosos elementos derivados del nuevo lenguaje de diseño de SUV de Škoda. Según el fabricante, el Škoda Karoq ofrecerá un excepcional espacio interior y estará plagado de los últimos sistema de asistencia al conductor, acompañado con como tecnologías como los faros FULL LED -opcionales desde la línea de equipamiento Ambition y Superior- o el panel de instrumentos digital Virtual Cockpit -primera vez que lo vemos en un modelo de la marca-.El Karoq también ofrecerá una amplia gama de sistemas de ayuda al conductor. Los nuevos sistemas de confort incluyen el sistema de aparcamiento asistido, el asistente de remolque, el asistente de carril y el asistente en embotellamientos. La detección de puntos ciegos, el Front Assist con la protección de peatones predictivo y el asistente de emergencia formarán parte del paquete de seguridad del catálogo.

El modelo contará con cinco mecánicas que cubrirán un abanico que parte delos 85 kW (115 CV) y llega a los 140 kW (190 CV). Características tales como el sistema VarioFlex ubicado en el asiento trasero y el pedal virtual para la apertura manos libres del portón trasero formarán parte del equipamiento opcional del SUV compacto de la marca.

La oferta mecánica estará compuesta por dos motores de gasolina y tres motores diésel, todos ellos Euro6. Las cilindradas son 1.0, 1.5, 1.6 y 2,0 litros; al tiempo que el rango de potencias va de 85 kW (115 CV) a 140 kW (190 CV). Todas las mecánicas cuentan con turbo, inyección directa, tecnología start-stop y recuperación de energía de frenado. A excepción del diésel más potente, todos los motores podrán asociarse a una caja de cambios manual de 6 velocidades o DSG de 7 velocidades. El 2.0 TDI de 140 kW (190 CV) viene de serie con sistema 4×4 y DSG7 de serie. El 1.5 TSI contará con la función de desactivación de cilindros.
