¿Cuál es el grosor mínimo de las pastillas de freno?
Como norma, se recomienda revisar el estado de las pastillas de freno cada unos 25.000 kilómetros, aunque es importante que tengas en cuenta que su desgaste dependerá en gran medida de tu estilo de conducción. También debes considerar que las pastillas delanteras se desgastan más que las traseras ya que prácticamente trabajan el doble.
No obstante, la mejor forma para comprobar si necesitas cambiar las pastillas de freno traseras o delanteras consiste en medir su grosor. En algunos casos, solo tendrás que desmontar la rueda, pero en oros modelos tendrás que desmontar las pastillas de freno propiamente dichas.

En otros casos tendrás que medirlo, considerando que cuando el grosor del material sea inferior a los 2 mm en algún punto, habrá llegado el momento de cambiar las pastillas de freno.
