Así quiere Ford que conduzcas de manera más segura

La tecnología no para de evolucionar y el sector del automovilismo se aprovecha de ello. Sin embargo, a veces no se trata de encontrar la siguiente gran solución, sino de mejorar los métodos ya existentes. Ford se ha puesto manos a la obra con sus métodos de asistencia al conductor, de cara a diferenciar sus vehículos con tres nuevas ideas en los dos próximos años.

Tu Ford aparcará por ti

Ford ha mejorado Active Park Assist, su sistema de ayuda al aparcar. Hasta la fecha, el conductor tenía que escoger manualmente entre ir hacia delante o hacia atrás, así como la dirección. Ahora el coche será capaz de hacer todo por sí mismo, además de detectar mejor las plazas y los elementos alrededor suyo para evitar accidentes. Por si las moscas, frenará automáticamente cuando detecta una situación de peligro.

Esquivar obstáculos será más sencillo

En la misma línea de evitar accidentes, Ford aplicará tanto en ciudad como en carretera un método para esquivar automóviles detenidos. No será algo automático, sino que funcionará facilitando movimientos rápidos con el volante al conductor. Esta tecnología saltará únicamente en casos de emergencia, no en adelantamientos convencionales.

No vayas en dirección contraria

Finalmente, Ford te ayudará a evitar que te metas en carreteras que van en dirección contraria. Usará el GPS integrado, así como cámaras frontales para detectar señales. En caso de que estés a punto de meterte por donde no debes, oirás una alerta para que des media vuelta y evites cualquier clase de choque.

Como vemos, todas las medidas están enfocadas hacia la seguridad del conductor. Las tres se valen de tecnologías existentes, como las cámaras frontales y traseras que ya poseen algunos vehículos. Ford pretende que durante los próximos dos años puedas conducir de forma aun más segura.

Ford Active Park Assist

Ford has improved Active Park Assist, its parking aid system. To date, the driver had to choose manually between going forwards or backwards as well as direction. Now the car will be able to do everything on its own, plus better detect the squares and the elements around you to avoid accidents. In case of flies, it will brake automatically when it detects a dangerous situation.

Dodging obstacles will be easier

In the same vein of avoiding accidents, Ford will apply both in city and on the road a method to dodge detained cars. It will not be something automatic, but will work by facilitating fast movements with the steering wheel to the driver. This technology will only jump in cases of emergency, not in conventional overtaking.

Do not go in the opposite direction

Finally, Ford will help you avoid getting hit on highways that go in the opposite direction. It will use the integrated GPS, as well as front cameras to detect signals. In case you are about to get where you should not, you will hear an alert to turn around and avoid any kind of shock.

As we see, all measures are focused towards the safety of the driver. All three use existing technologies, such as the front and rear cameras that already own some vehicles. Ford intends that for the next two years you can drive even more safely.
