Las causas más comunes de una fuga de aceite

Un coche pierde aceite por diferentes causas. Lo más común y menos grave es que el tornillo de vaciado del cárter esté mal ajustado o que se haya forzado demasiado en el último cambio de aceite. En ese caso bastará con ajustarlo o cambiarlo.

No obstante, si el goteo es persistente puede deberse a una fisura en el cárter, que normalmente se produce cuando el coche sufre un golpe por debajo. En esos casos es recomendable acudir inmediatamente al taller ya que el nivel de aceite baja muy rápido.

Otra razón por la que un coche pierde aceite puede ser que el nivel de este sea demasiado alto. De hecho, el aceite debe mantenerse entre un límite mínimo y máximo, si rebosa salpicará los cilindros, se quemará y terminará lleno de impurezas que se depositarán en la cámara de combustión y acortarán la vida útil del motor. En este caso te darás cuenta porque el humo que sale del tubo de escape suele adquirir un color azulado y tiene un olor característico.
