Los Chevrolet Onix y Prisma sumarán OnStar en Argentina

Chevrolet anunció que los modelos Onix y Prisma comenzarán a equipar OnStar, el paquete de servicios conectados que la marca ya ofrecía en S10, Trailblazer, Cobalt, Spin y Tracker. La presentación de los Onix y Prisma con OnStar se realizará desde el Salón del Automóvil de Buenos Aires 2017, del 10 al 20 de junio en La Rural (ver más aquí).

OnStar es un conjunto de servicios conectados que proveé herramientas de Diagnóstico, Seguridad, Emergencia, Conectividad, Navegación y Conserjería. El sistema funciona mediante una llamada telefónica que genera el propio vehículo (se presiona el botón OnStar), que es atendida por un asesor, encargado de asistir al conductor.

El servicio de OnStar, que a nivel mundial cuenta con más de 7,5 millones de usuarios (en Estados Unidos, por ejemplo, funciona desde hace 20 años), es gratuito en Argentina durante el primer año de utilización. Tras ello, el cliente deberá abonar un abono fijo por mes, aunque desde Chevrolet explican que en función de un paquete de beneficios que recibirá el usuario, “el costo prácticamente será nulo”.

Chevrolet announced that the Onix and Prisma models will begin to equip OnStar, the package of connected services that the brand already offered in S10, Trailblazer, Cobalt, Spin and Tracker. OnStar is a set of connected services that provides Diagnostic, Security, Emergency, Connectivity, Navigation and Concierge tools. The system works by means of a telephone call that generates the own vehicle (the OnStar button is pressed), that is taken care of by an adviser, in charge of assisting the driver.

The OnStar service, which has more than 7.5 million users worldwide (for example, in the United States for 20 years), is free in Argentina during the first year of use. After that, the customer will have to pay a fixed monthly payment, although from Chevrolet they explain that according to a benefit package that the user will receive, "the cost will practically be null".
