Juan Manuel Sanabria, especialista técnico de la División Automotriz de Bosch, señaló que cada pieza es importante para el buen desempeño del vehículo, por lo que es imprescindible verificar regularmente su adecuado funcionamiento.

Para Sanabria, uno de los aspectos vitales del vehículo es el sistema de frenos. Antes de cualquier viaje es importante chequear que las pastillas o zapatas tengan los niveles adecuados y que los sistemas de ABS y ESP operen con normalidad.

Otro factor importante es el sistema de iluminación. El especialista aconseja comprobar que las lámparas externas e internas encienden y brindan la potencia adecuada para tener una correcta visibilidad.

Recomienda, además, realizar una alineación de las luces cada dos años para tener una correcta proyección.

Para reforzar la visibilidad, es ideal observar el estado de las plumillas del limpiaparabrisas. En caso de que el barrido de la limpieza no sea eficaz o haga ruido, se deberán reemplazar a la brevedad. Se recomienda hacer el cambio al año.

Asimismo, el sistema eléctrico debe pasar por el respectivo mantenimiento preventivo cada tres meses. Esto para asegurar el buen funcionamiento de la batería, alternadores y el motor de arranque.

“Es responsabilidad de todo conductor, sobre todo de transporte público de pasajeros, cerciorarse de que la unidad que opere cuenta con revisiones preventivas periódicas, para así reducir los riesgos de un posible accidente”, declaró.
