El alquiler de coches entre particulares ha experimentado un auge sin precedentes en los últimos años. La plataforma de alquiler de coches entre particulares Drivy ha introducido una novedad en este sector, y nos hizo una prueba del nuevo sistema de apertura que han creado, llamado Drivy Open y que llega hoy a Madrid. Pudimos comprobar cómo el vehículo se abría y cerraba a través de la app.

El servicio ya se ha puesto en marcha en París, Berlín y Barcelona y, según Raquel Priego, Relaciones Públicas, está teniendo muy buena aceptación en Madrid. El propietario estipula el precio del alquiler y puede rechazar o aceptar solicitudes de conductores interesados. A través de fotografías previas y posteriores al alquiler se asegura que el vehículo no ha sufrido daños.

Drivy revisa la documentación del conductor para cerciorarse de que lleve consigo su permiso y esté vigente; es entonces cuando el propietario facilita a éste la franja horaria (la localización, así como la matrícula aparecen en la app una hora antes del inicio) en la que el conductor puede acceder al vehículo a través de la aplicación móvil. Una vez abierto, encontrará en su interior las llaves del coche.

Al terminar el alquiler el proceso es el mismo: se realizan fotografías, se estaciona en un radio cercano al del punto de partida, se dejan las llaves dentro y desde el móvil se cierra el vehículo. Una vez cerrado, la aplicación te avisa de que no podrás volver a abrirlo, y te recuerda previamente que no olvides tus pertenencias.

De esta manera se simplifica el proceso de alquiler al no necesitar una entrega de llaves física.

¿Como funciona el dispositivo?

El dispositivo, que es instalado de forma gratuita por la empresa, se basa en una antena GPS y GSM conectada al panel del coche, de forma que se puede controlar el kilometraje, el combustible, la velocidad y la localización. Asimismo cuenta con un sistema inmovilizador de arranque, que impide que, una vez que finaliza el alquiler, se pueda volver a acceder os sea sustraído.

Cuando empezamos a idear la tecnología, había la opción de instalarlo con un plugin, porque era más fácil, y se podía quitar también rápido. Pero era una instalación “exterior”, no se tocaba el interior del coche, y corría el riesgo de que alguien lo arrancara, o que se estropeara más fácilmente. Cada marca y modelo varía, y es necesario tener un experto en instalaciones electrónicas-mecánicas para hacerlo. Es prácticamente imposible que alguien pueda llevarse el dispositivo”, afirma Priego.
