BMW i8 Protonic Dark Silver Edition, el más elegante

Cuando uno habla de coches especiales como el BMW i8, el superdeportivo hibrido que la marca lanzó en 2015, antes o después estaba claro que vendrían ediciones especiales que lo hiciesen todavía mas exclusivo. Si en el pasado Salón de Ginebra conocíamos el BMW i8 Protonic Red Edition, ahora en París llega el BMW i8 Protonic Dark Silver Edition, otra ediciónexclusiva que estará a la venta por un periodo de tiempo limitado: podrá encargarse hasta el día 31 de diciembre.

Esta especie de Cenicienta que busca a su príncipe azul pero que debe llegar a casa antes de las 12 busca el lado más elegante. No hay cambios estéticos más allá de un nuevo color para su carrocería, un gris oscuro Frozen con un acabado brillante. Son también nuevas las llantas grises, de 20 pulgadas.

Pocas mnovedades también en el interior del BMW i8 Protonic Dark Silver Edition. Destaca el tapizado de piel, con costuras en color gris plata, cuenta con inserciones en fibra de carbono y con las placas identificativas de rigor de las ediciones especiales.

No esperes cambios mécanicos. Conserva el sistema de propulsión híbrido compuesto por un pequeño propulsor de gasolina de tres cilindros y 1.500 cc que ofrece 231 CV que mueve las ruedas delanteras. El eje delantero es movido por un sistema eléctrico que genera 131 CV, lo que da como resultado una potencia total combinada de 362 CV. Puede parecer poca, pero es ma´s que suficiente para lanzar al BMW i8 2014 hasta los 100 km/h desde parado en apenas 4,4 segundos…. y es capaz de alcanzar los 250 km/h de velocidad máxima. Y todo ello con un consumo homologado muy bajo y hasta 35 km de autonomía eléctrica.
