GNV Y GLP: ¿CUÁL ES EL MÁS INDICADO PARA TU VEHÍCULO?

La constante variación del precio de los combustibles líquidos ha provocado que los conductores evalúen alternativas como el GNV y el GLP, pero ¿cuál elegir para cada vehículo?

Escoger entre GLP (Gas Licuado de Petróleo) y GNV (Gas Natural Vehicular) dependerá del tipo de uso del vehículo y del ahorro esperado en el costo de combustible.

El GLP suele ser preferido por usuarios particulares debido a la mayor autonomía que se puede obtener y a su disponibilidad en casi todas las provincias del Perú. El ahorro que se obtiene en relación a la gasolina es de hasta 50% en costo.

El GNV es utilizado mayormente por usuarios que brindan servicio de transporte. El ahorro es mayor, es de hasta 60% en costo de combustible en relación a la gasolina. Sin embargo la autonomía es menor y su disponibilidad está principalmente en Lima.

Si vas a realizar la instalación del sistema de gas a tu vehículo, debes dirigirte a un taller autorizado por el MTC para tal fin. Existen protocolos que exigen una inspección técnica previa a la instalación para garantizar el buen funcionamiento y seguridad del mismo.
