BMW Serie 1 MY2017: Leves retoques, más equipamiento y nuevas ediciones especiales

Tras el lavado de cara de la Serie 3 y la Serie 4, BMW nos trae algunas novedades para otros modelos de la gama de cara a 2017. El primero del que os voy a hablar es el de la Serie 1, una familia de modelos compactos que actualmente se comercializa en carrocerías de 3 o de 5 puertas y que llega con un nuevo atractivo estético, un nuevo aire dinámico gracias a las nuevas ediciones especiales y un equipamiento más completo con novedades en materia de conectividad.

La Serie 1 ha sido un éxito total con más de dos millones unidades vendidas en todo el mundo (960.000 de ellas de la actual generación) y es por ello que BMW, con vistas a que la Serie 1 afronte una nueva etapa comercial antes del relevo generacional del modelo, ha lavado y actualizado la cara de este compacto cuya historia empezaba en 2014.

Si hay algo que caracterizada al Serie 1 es la deportividad, con un perfil de rasgos dinámicos, una llamativa parrilla ovoide doble, un capó alargado y una zaga de formas deportivas y elegantes a partes iguales, y es por ello que la primera de las novedades de la gama son tres ediciones especiales que subrayan la imagen juvenil, fresca y deportiva de la serie: Edition Sport Line Shadow, Edition M Sport Shadow y BMW M140i Edition Shadow. Estos se distinguen por el marco negro de la parrilla ovoide doble, los faros LED con elementos negros y las luces traseras de superficie más oscura, también de tecnología LED. El BMW Serie 1 Edition M Sport Shadow incorpora adicionalmente las salidas de escape de color negro.

Tampoco faltan en el nuevo modelo cinco llantas de aleación ligera de nueva factura con tamaño de 17 y de 18 pulgadas. En total, se ofrecen llantas de 16 modelos diferentes, desde 16 hasta 18 pulgadas. Estas, a su vez, se complementan con la adición a la gama de dos nuevos colores para la carrocería, el azul Seaside Blue y el naranja Sunset Orange.
